Lionsheart Mobile, the company behind Lionheart, is taking a new approach to mobile games.
The company announced today that its mobile game Lionheart: The Last Rites will be available in all major US markets for $59.99.
Lionsheart’s newest game, which launched in March, will be released on September 14th.
“We are pleased to announce that Lionheart is now available in the USA and Canada,” said Lionsheart CEO John Smith in a statement.
“We are excited to introduce Lionheart to our global audience and hope that it will help us grow our business.
As a result, we are announcing Lionheart as a digital-only game.”
Lionsheart was founded in 2013 by John Smith, a former developer for Activision Blizzard, which acquired Lionsheart in 2015.
The game launched as a free download on iOS and Android, and then later on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Lionshead has released several free mobile games in the past, including an Android game called Lionheart 2: Heart of the Beast, which sold over 2.5 million copies in its first week.
It is also the developer behind the critically acclaimed mobile game, The Last Royal.
