A new mobile game testing tool, Disney Mobile Game Testing, is launching on iOS and Android.
The app lets developers test games using either a desktop browser or an app on a mobile device.
It can also test games on iOS or Android via a third-party app.
“We’re excited to offer the ability to quickly test our mobile game experiences in an app that we’ve developed and used for years, and have the ability for customers to test their mobile games with us and in a way that they can easily see how the game works on their devices,” said Disney Mobile CEO James Anderson.
The app was created in response to the growing popularity of mobile games.
The platform is currently used by a number of Disney-owned games, including The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, and by Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios.
Disney Mobile Game Test is designed to help developers quickly test games with a single app, with the developer then sharing that data with Disney.
For developers who use the iOS app, Disney provides a dashboard for their games and their users can review the results and take action on how the app should be updated.
“As mobile gaming continues to grow in popularity, it is critical that our game testing platforms are capable of taking advantage of the new platform to deliver quality mobile games,” said Anna Kuklin, director of mobile game software at Disney Mobile.
“Disney Mobile Games Testing has been used by Disney and its games to help drive innovation and drive user engagement for years and has provided us with invaluable insight on the current state of mobile gaming.”
To use the app, you’ll need a Disney Mobile account, a copy of the game, a credit card number and an Apple ID.
The first step is to register with the app.
From there, you can access the dashboard to access a number for the app you’re testing and a list of games for testing.
You can then click on a game to view the testing results.
Disney says you can test any game, whether it’s an iOS or an Android app, and it will then notify you if it is approved.
Once you’ve submitted a test, you won’t see any error messages or the app will not be installed.
Disney also provides a number to contact for more information on how to submit your test.
